Civil engineering is a diverse field that requires specialized education and training to master various sub-disciplines. Aspiring civil engineers typically need to pursue further education at a college or university, where they can obtain degrees that span numerous areas of expertise such as construction, environmental, structural, and transportation engineering, among others.
The source is civil engineering because this is the foundation to being a structural engineer. I have always enjoyed building things and making things better for everyone. A few of the things I want to learn more about is the different fields there are. I also want to learn where I can work and what job would let me be able to be outside. I also want to know what kind of future the job would have for me and what kind of growth I can gain from it. The sources I will be using are going to be some of the historical information along with education books. I also plan to use web sites like the department of labor statistics to learn more about the foundation job and all the sub-disciplines.
