Mi'kmaq interesting facts.
They ate all kinds of fish such as salmon, sturgeon, lobster, squid, shellfish and eels. As well as seabirds and their eggs.
The Mi'kmaq mostly hunted marien life such as walrus, porpoises, whales and seals.
The Mi'kmaq made their bows out of maple! They also made then of wood and string.
The Mi'kmaq stored the lobster thet caght in the ground for later consumption.
Food
The Mi'kmaq main foods were meat, Fish, Wild plants and berries. The type of meat they eat is rabbits, Bears and Foxes.
Mi' kmaq people eat alot of meat. They take out anything from the animal that is not meat, then they take of the skin and then cook their meat over fire then.
With the leftovers, they never let then waste. They may use them for shovels to dig or skin to make clothes.

Clothing
They made leggings,sleeves and breechclothes of moose and deer skin. Breechclothes were animal hides sowed together and hung from a man's waist. They sometimes had colourful patterns on them.
This is a traditional Mi'kmaq outfit for a gathering. They put alot of floral patterns on clothing.
They also made moccasins out of deer and moose.
Shelter
Wigwams are made of sticks and Tree bark. They bent sticks to the top and tied them together with rope.
