Facebook Banner Set - FINAL

Proper naming conventions for folders and banners are crucial for organizing product-related graphics. The guidelines specify that underscores should be limited to three per name, situated after the category, before the set number, and directly after it.

Facebook Banner Set - FINAL

PLEASE NOTE: This naming convention only applies to the folder and image names within the Graphics folder - additional underscores and hyphens will be applied automatically for tracking purposes!

Good to Know! 1. UNDERSCORES (_): There should be no more than 3 underscores in the banner or folder name. One after the category, one before the set number and one directly after the set number. 2. HYPHENS (-) Alll words related to brands and product types should be seperated by hyphens! The text 'SKU' and the number should also be seperated by a hyphen. 3. Only use lowercase letters. Only use capitals for the text SKU and the corresponding code. 4. Use English. We want to avoid doubling up with things like 'stiefelleten' and 'ankle-boots'. 5. Use plurals, not singluar: dresses, trousers, shoes. 6. Please use products with a value under 150€ - otherwise the CV will be very low. 7. If you want to advertise expensive products, put them in the premium folder.

How to Build a Facebook Banner Set

1. Define the category The facebook folders and corresponding file names share the same logic as the regular graphics folders. So items are organised according to their category group. Check the complete list to the left if you're unsure: Example: shf_tamaris-sandals_21_SKU-TA111B09N-350-4

FINISHED!
5. Apply the SKU We use one specific SKU per banner set. We do this for multiple reasons: to maximise our linking options, to test dynamic LPs and also to check whether brands or products are blacklisted in specific countries. Please make sure the text SKU is seperated from the code by a hyphen (-) Example: shf_tamaris-sandals_21_SKU-TA111B09N-350
4. Give the banner set a number The Facebook banners follow a chronological, numerical order. So if you want to make a high-heels banner set and the last set in the folder was shf_high-heels_22_ the next one should be shf_high-heels_23_. The number should have underscores on either side. Example: shf_tamaris-sandals_21_SKU-TA111B09N-350
3. Specify the product type The Facebook banners are further defined according to product type so it is quick and easy to find exactly what you're looking for. The product type comes directly after the brand (if applicable).
Multiple Word Products Some products have more than one word: high-heels, t-shirts, long-dresses. All words are seperated by a hyphens (-). So they follow the same logic as multi-word brands. Example (Branded): txm_jack-jones-t-shirts_42_SKU-JA222D0EG-003 Example (Non-branded): txm_t-shirts_42_SKU-JA222D0EG-003
Single Word Products Single worded products follow the same naming logic as the brands. Example (Branded): shf_tamaris-sandals_21_SKU-TA111B09N-350 Example (Non-branded): shf_sandals_21_SKU-TA111B09N-350
2. Is the banner set branded? After defining the category you need to define the brand (if applicable). The category and brand should be seperated by an underscore (_).
YES

Multiple Word Brands What if the brand has more than one word? If you are promoting a brand like Jack&Jones, Scotch&Soda or Even&Odd - all words are seperated by a hyphen (-). Example: txm_jack-jones-t-shirts_42_SKU-JA222D0EG-003

Single Word Brands If you are promoting a brand, you need to define it directly after the first underscore (_). Example: shf_tamaris-sandals_21_SKU-TA111B09N-350-4
