TYPICAL COSTUME

Costumes are traditional Irish Celtic-inspired clothing, and are quite similar to the rest of Gaelic peoples, but more specifically to their Scottish brethren. In the case of men, basically it consists of an Irish skirt (similar to Scottish kilt) with vest and tie. Dominated the charts and plaid, along with saffron, white and emerald green. These costumes are not as famous as the Scots, as Ireland does not follow the tradition of both kilt and tartan (clan colors and kilt) extended family, as is done even in parts of Scotland.

It is a sovereign country, member of the European Union, which occupies most of the homonymous island. Its capital is Dublin, located east of the island. The country has only one land border with Northern Ireland, one of the constituent nations of the UK. The island is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean with the Celtic Sea to the south, St George's Channel to the south and the Irish Sea to the east. It is a parliamentary republic with an elected president who serves as head of state. Head of Government, the Taoiseach, is appointed by the lower house of parliament, the Dail Eireann.
