Psychomotor: As in the novel, students will illustrate (through drawing or a computer program) their journal entry in a way that also matches the intended tone
Affective: Students will write their own diary entry about a personal experience and express tone through word choices and literary devices
Cognitive: After reading a short selection from True Diary, the students will pick out literary devices and word choices that establish tone
