Efforts are underway to enhance bike and pedestrian safety through education and community engagement. Programs include safety presentations for various grade levels, such as bike rodeos and pedestrian safety assemblies.
Design and implement a marketing campaign tailored to the westside residents and geared to low-income and minority populations, utilizing a variety of communication channels, emphasizing the joy, ease and rewards of biking, with the goal of encouraging more residents to bike.
