In November 29, 1975 the law of Education for all handicapped children act, but it was later changes to the Individuals with disabilities education act.

Reauthorization :


In December 3, 2004 President Bush signed the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act. President Bus reauthorized and revisioned IDEA, it preserves the basic structure and civil rights guarantees of IDEA but also made significant changes to the law.
