✴ All Too Well: The other person’s perspective ✴

The narrative explores the emotional aftermath of a relationship from the male perspective, starting with him finding a scarf that brings back memories. As he reminisces, specific moments like dancing in the kitchen and singing in the car come to mind, underscoring the deep connection they once shared.

✴End✴

He sees her again at the end. She has bettered herself without him. Convey that he was not good for her, and that she's thriving without him.
She's a successful, and with true friends. She's smiling and laughing, and it finally sets in. She's over him.

She's more mature, and very content. He admires her from afar.

✴Middle✴

Retell the story of their last fight before they ended their relationship.
Mention their age difference, and an example of him verbally weaponizing it against her.

BRING IT BACK TO THE SCARF! Mention how she felt, and the pure horror in her eyes when he spoke. This represents her innoncence.

Make it obvious that he left out a part of the fight. I want some ambiguity. However, I'd like the reader to be able to discern that Taylor was being used and that it was not her fault.

✴Epilogue✴

Indicate that the weather has changed, it clearly shows the difference between the beginning. Also, it's winter by the end, which is a season of isolation, darkness, and coldness. On the other hand, autumn is colourful and full of life. Winter kills that when the leaves begin to shirvell and die. It symbolizes their relationship in a way.
Convey his regret. Perhaps through a series of questions. Tie it back to the main fight scene with mentions of the age difference and how he didn't care enough.

He realizes the end of their relationship was nobody's fault but his. He admits to his wrongdoings.

Although he admits to all his mistakes, he acknowledges it's too late. Reference the "three months in the grave.", and go with the theme that after the relationship, they died.

✴Beginning✴

Indicate his feelings and sentiments surrounding her, reference the coldness in the air from the song, and how she protected him from it.
Incorporate the season autumn, to show contrast between the time we see him after their relationship (winter). Analogy of the changing seasons and their changing love could tie the theme in nicely.

He shows her his past, and tell that story sparingly. Let the reader infer between the lines. Also, I'd like to include something about her cheeks turning red to honor the song AND for repetitive purposes.

Return back to him with the scarf. It will reinforce the message of the scarf, and remind the reader that he is still reminiscing.

✴Introduction✴

He finds her scarf and suddenly, everything comes rushing back.
He becomes nervous when thinking about everything, especially how their relationship ended.

Mention specific references to the story when he reminisces. Ex: "dancing 'round the kitchen in the refrigerator light." or "singing in car, getting lost upstate."

Tie his thoughts back to the scarf. Put emphasis on the symbolism of the object. Incorporate a lyric. Potential options: "the one true thing you've ever known.", or "a never-needy, ever lovely jewel whose shine reflects on you." Something the describes her character, and thus what the scarf represents.

Last line should incorporate "All Too Well", for the purpose of repetition and dramatic effect.
