ANTIVIRUS

Is the software or program that helps tech computer equipment from viruses that arrive through any storage medium or other source and is used to detected and eliminate any type of virus.

BACK UP COPIES

Having the backup of your files will avoid the loss of valuable information and, in addition, hours of work spent on those files.

NETWORK SECURITY

More and more data are being used by our computer equipment and mobile devices, all interconnected to the Internet, wich makes us ver vulnerable to virus attacks.

ONE DRIVE

Is a cloud storage tool that allows you to acces from anywhere you are, you only need to secure the Internet connection, your access account and voila.

BYTE

Is used to measure the storage capacity of a certain device or the amount of space available for storage.

IP ADDRESS

Is a set of numbers that used to identify and logically locate a computer equipment or electronic device within a network or the Internet.

INTERNET SPEED

*Upload:speed refers to the time it takes for the data you send. *Download speed: refers to the time it takes for data from the page where it is being downloaded. *Latency: refers to the time it takes for the connection to communicate with the IP network

BIT

Is the minimum unit of information that a digital or electronic device can have. A bit has only one value wich can be one or zero.

DIGITAL RESPONSIBILITY

As citizens we have the responsibility to take care of the information that we publish on any website or social network and not to harm or injured third parties.

DATA PROTECTION

Refers to the fundamental principles, safeguards and practices put in place to protect your personal information and ensure thet your maintain its control.

PERSONAL DATA

Is information related to our person, which identifies us identity and describe us.

ACCESS ACCOUNTS

Generate access accounts whit a username and password. This action will allow you to have more protection when an intruder whants to access your computer to steal information.

FIREWALL

It serves as security mechanism and as a network that monitors incoming and outgoing information traffic and restricts unauthorized access by intruders or attacks.

PHISHING

Is defined as the crime of tricking people or users into sharing confidential information such as access accounts, passwords, credit card numbers, among things.

SPAM

Is an email that has not been requested and whose purpose is to be sent to a large number of recipients to promote businesses and/or spread advertising.

VIRUS

Is a malicious program created by programmers to infect a system; it is intended to carry out actions that can damage or steal information, make copies of it, and spread to other computer equipment.
