All About ME!!!
A person describes their tendency to withhold emotions, preferring to maintain a normal façade even during difficult times, such as the passing of a close relative. They acknowledge their strongest intelligence is logical-mathematical, which aligns well with their dedication to math courses and future career aspirations in fields such as engineering or accounting.
The other intelligence that is my strongest is word smart. This is something that coincides directly with the language courses such as English or French. Language to me is very important as the more you read, the more types of literature you are exposed to, the better you become at articulating your ideas. I love listening to the ideas of others on the internet through videos and podcasts. I regularly listen to YouTube channels such as “The Patriot Act”, or even the thoughts of Trevor Noah. It provides me with a larger window and perspective of society and also expands my vocabulary. I often use this to write interesting essays to present my ideas and my perspective of social issues around the world. This is something that I enjoy and would fit in the realm of many occupations that I would like to pursue such as a lawyer.
The intelligence that is my strongest is logic smart. Logical intelligence is something that coincides directly with the math courses at school. I am dedicated to all of my math courses because I am aware how crucial it is for my career path. I work well and enjoy working with numbers as it makes sense to me. For me math is more muscle memory, where the steps to a problem naturally come to me. Math allows me to use the skills I know and apply them in a variation of situations/mathematical problems. This allows me to strengthen my logical thinking which is something I strive at. This intelligence corresponds to my future career path in so many ways as using my mathematical skills, and logical thinking, jobs such as an engineer or accountant are some of the career paths that heavily intrigue me.
Multiple Intelligences
I am also a very rational person. When it comes to my decision making, I try to base facts, statistics and experience to help influence my decisions and this is why I adore subjects like math and science. I also take my time while doing so as I believe that impulsive decisions only lead to failure. For example, if I were to plan a grade 8 graduation trip, I would rather collect data through surveys, make a chart to organize/analyze the data and then address the budget to make a logical decision that pleases everyone in a timely fashion.
Many people say I am a person with very little emotion, and I agree. There are certain circumstances that I encounter that can raise or lower my emotion. Rather than showing it vividly with tears or laughter, I tend to keep things to myself. I don’t talk about it, and put on a normal face. For example, when my uncle passed away last year, I was very grim and remorseful for many days, however, nobody at school found out and I pretended to be normal.
The color that was my strongest was Green. I learned a lot about my specific character traits and it allowed me to understand how I can cooperate with other people and how they coincide with the fact that I am a left brain type person.
One way to describe my character would be that I am a very independent person who hesitates in engaging in group discussions/activities. I tend to complete tasks on my own as I am able to dictate how I plan my schedule and don’t have to face any social distractions. For instance, when I was told to complete a graffiti art project, I chose to do it alone rather than as a group as I had the freedom to choose the color scheme I wanted, the design of my letters, the word itself and more. I am detailed-oriented in my work and strive perfection.
My mother is my biggest role model. Coming from a poor family and working her way to a career as a chemist, sponsoring her parents to Canada, having 2 children and owning her own house, it is remarkable how much she has accomplished. She was not put in a circumstance to succeed yet she thrived as a woman with very little support. That inspires me to be better everyday and to fulfill my mom’s dream to become a doctor, something she could not accomplish because of a lack of financial support. She is always so encouraging, caring and her support motivates me to keep battling as I go through the flows of life.
Rolemodels
I value the privileges that I have been granted in my life, the access to food and water, my loving parents and a shelter that provides me with heating, cooling and security. Knowing how lucky I am, I strive to make the most of them. I devote my soul to my education and career and that is what made me such a determined person. This will also help me choose the career path I want to pursue. Many don’t have access to all these privileges and I strive to become a doctor so I can make an impact and serve my community.
I will demonstrate this trait by forcing myself into collaborative environments so I can be more familiar with people. This will allow me to make close friends, friends that I can empathize with when going through a bad time, share goals and hobbies. This will help me be less reserved and rather be more open to others feelings, ideas, perspectives when working in a group and people would enjoy working with me because of my attitude. This will mean joining clubs and teams such as DECA.
Values
Compassion and care is the most important trait for anyone to have. This is due to the fact that we live in a world where as you grow you need to be able to cooperate with others. When you show compassion, it shows others that you care about them and they feel more willing to work with you. A healthy relationship with anyone allows you to make more friends which is good for your social life/mental health.
