Conditions in the workers' houses and in the factories were terrible.

In the towns there were lots of factories.

There was not a worker who had to prouce something in his house but now the workers share the work.
Factories were large buildings which contained machines
Machines produced goods very fast and more cheaply

It was born in Britain between 1760 and 1890.

Before Britain was a rural country and there were only some large cities, but not many.
There were lots of farms. Richer farmers with a lot of land began to take over the small farms.

This was the caused of lots of unempoyment so unemploymed farmers left the countryside and tried to find work in cities.
