If you've been a civil engineer for 1-2 years. you will probably make around $70,000. 2-5 is around $90,000. 5-10 is around $115,000. 10-15 is around $140,000. 15-20 is around $150,000 and 20+ years of experience is around $160,000 a year.

Based on Education

If you are a civil engineer with a 4 year bachelors degree, you can make around $80,000 a year. If you go further and get a masters degree it is possible to make around $140,000 a year. PhD is around $230,000 a year.

Each semester for civil engineering technology at St.Clair College while in a 3 year degree is estimated at around $1,300.
