Coaching a sport team

Managing a sports team involves multiple key aspects that contribute to the overall performance and cohesiveness of the group. Effective communication is essential, as it facilitates interactions between players and coaches, often enhanced through social media platforms.

Team rules - Rules are very important to be put in place as this creates a stable team of athletes and making it a safe environment to train in.
Equipment - This is very important because without balls cones bibs ect you cant create and run your own training drills.
Leadership group - Its always good to organise a leadership group as this will set a standard of the whole team and also in helping you coach drills and manage game day tactics.

Boosters

Social Media - Create a team group chat as this will make everyone more comfortable as a team which will create a much better working environment.
Communication - This is important as it makes it easier for an athlete and as well for the coach if everyone is communicating with one another.

Game report - Game reports are good to have because it can help improve in what the team needs to improve on. It also looks at what the team does really well in the game. So it looks at the strengths and weaknesses
Support/media- This is very important because by having a social media group this allows the players and coach to interact with each other and its also a good way to place all of the fixtures and training sessions for the season.

Coach

Goals - Its always good to set out a list of goals at the start of the season as you can set your self to work towards something during the season and also help you stay on track.
Responsibility - This is important to have as a coach making sure every training session is ready to go with all the equipment plus numbers of players and also making sure that the players are safe at all times that is your responsibility as a coach.

Training

Plans - Make sure as a coach that you have already planned the session out prior to the training session this gives you an advantage when training each drill and saves you precious time to work on things that your team needs to work on.
Facility/ground - Make sure you know where you are gonna train prior to the date and make sure to write it in the group chat to all the players. (Time, date, address).
Medical - Make sure you have medical equipment prepared at every training session just in case if one of you players gets hurt in a tackle or does something during a drill.
