Today/My History

Today, I'm 22 years old, I'm studying social communication and I love being with my family and friends, dancing and acting. Actually, last semester, I started studying at an Acting school were I made a play, as the final product, and I had a lot of fun during the process, and also, I was very happy with the results.
I've lived twice in other countries: first, in 8th grade I went to Canada for six months on an exchange program. Then, as soon as I graduated from school I lived in Montpellier, France for a whole year in order to learn the language.
Just until I was 4 I got into school which is called: Gimnasio Femenino. There, I spent the next 14 years of my life until I completed all the school levels and got the degree
I was born and raised in Bogotá. When I was 2, I went to kindergarten. It was called: "American Garden."

What makes me special

I am outgoing
I can easily relate with all kind of people. I love meeting those who are very different but also, those with whom I share my point of view. Being outgoing has helped me out in terms of networking and personal growth. Also, when I’ve been living somewhere else, I’ve met so many nice people that nowadays, we still have a strong bond.
I enjoy helping others
I have done many volunteering programs around Colombia and I really enjoy being useful and helpful. I find extremely important to give others my best version. There’s a quote that sums up what I’m expressing: “we rise by lifting others.” I find giving, more satisfying than taking.
I never give up
If something actually excites me, I work for it every day, and commit to it. That means a bigger effort and work from me Besides, I also think that not giving up, challenge my capacities, my mind, and help on my personal growth.

My advice for my classmates is: first, to follow your dreams and passions! do everything that will make you happy. also, i would recommend to always be yourselves, that is the key to happiness. being you, and being real will take you far. finally, take risks! overcome all your fears and challenge yourselves. Another quote I love is: “Work hard until you no longer need to introduce yourself”
