Canada is experiencing a demographic shift where the birthrate is declining due to many individuals choosing to have fewer or no children. This trend is expected to cause the death rate to surpass the birth rate as the baby boomer generation ages.

Emmigration

International Emigration isn't a very big factor of Canada's population most emigration is province to province

Age groups

45 and below

45 and below makes a large amount of the population but not as much as 45 and above, and since the birth rate went down were going to have to depend on immigration for balancing the age groups

45 and above

45 and above make up more then half of the population of Canada because a lot of people stopped having kids or as much

Population Growth of Canada

Natural Increase

Death rate
since people have decided to have less kids and in some cases no kids the death rate will soon surpass the birth rate because the baby boomer generation is getting old
Birthrate
the birth rate is going down because a lot of people are opting not to have kids. so now we have to count on immigration to raise our population
