Indigenous people

In the history of Canada, the arrival of European settlers marked a significant and tumultuous period, particularly for the indigenous populations. These settlers, primarily from France and Britain, came with the intent to trade and claim land, often leading to the displacement and mistreatment of indigenous communities.
