Math 1512 Mind Map

Learning Shapes 101

The goal of this Mind Map is to give the students an understanding of what shapes are and what the differences are. Students will be able to identify shapes in every day life.

Games

Finding the differences between Shapes

This interactive website helps the students identify the shapes, assorting by number of sides, congruent, similar, and 2 and 3-D shapes.

Learning Shapes

Students will be able to identify shapes and what real life objects also represent them.

Additional Resources

Classroom Poster

Incorporating informational pictures around the classroom, students will be able to refer to them, identify, and learn what they are and what is the difference between the shapes.

Shape Classification Activities

This activity is great for the students to help identify shapes to real life objects.  Since the shapes are food, the students can see the dimensional shapes and be able to classify them.
