Persuasion involves utilizing various techniques to influence others' beliefs, opinions, or actions. One common method includes attacking or praising the listener or their viewpoint, where attacking might involve dismissing the other side and praising can align the listener with the speaker'

Persuasion skills

Evidence

Use of information, facts and statements in order to support a belief, opinion, point of view or proposition. It backs up the speaker point of view. Often seems objective.

Attack/Praise

The speaker attacks or praises the listener, the listener's point of view or an idea. Attack= Humiliating and dismissing the other side. Praise= puts the listener in a position of agreement with the speaker.

Exaggeration

Stating the case too strongly, dramatically, magnify excessive importance, happinnes, danger. Use of drama. Used to gain attention. Uses humor or manipulation of the other side.

Emotion

Can sometime be subtle (עדין) . Play on people's emotions such as fears, hopes, desires, values, etc.
