The role of a teacher-librarian encompasses a variety of responsibilities aimed at enhancing the library's resources and services for students. One primary duty is to advocate for the necessary resources and services, ensuring students have access to valuable materials.

Include my thoughts and opinions in school discussions from a teacher-librarian perspective

Create open web sites

Be open to creating a library blog

Make changes based on feedback from students and colleagues

Communicate to others about the changes occurring within the library

Collaborate with colleagues on improving the library

Be open to suggestions

Advocate for resources and services for students to have access to in the library

Facilitate collaboration and open communication

Shape services based on user feedback and preferences

Take an experimental approach to change and be willing to make mistakes

Persevere when there is resistance to change

Be open to change

Set goals and make improvements in regards to what the library should have/look like

Be informed about new technology, programs and apps
