Metallica was influenced by a few bands such as, Tygers of Pan Tang, Diamond Head, Blitzkrieg and another one of my favourite a artists/ bands, Iron Maiden
Iron Maiden was influenced by a lot of bands,Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Uriah Heep, Pink Floyd, Genesis, Yes, Jethro Tull, Thin Lizzy, UFO, Queen and Wishbone Ash.

Led Zeppelin was influenced by Muddy water and Skip James

Bon Ivers main influence was Beck
Beck has a couple of influences such as, Nick Drake, Melvin and the frogs, and Serge Gainsbourg

Nick Drake's influences were Kate Bush, Paul Weller, the Black Crowes, Peter Buck of R.E.M., and Robert Smith of the Cure.

The main influence on Coldplay is the Scottish rock band Travis, The Irish rock band U2 is another important influence
U2's influences were Bob Dylan, Elvis, The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, The Eagles, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Marley and Led Zeppelin.

The Beatles had many influences such as he Byrds, Gram Parsons and Gene Clark, as well as the rest of the California country rock scene: Poco, Rick Nelson, Linda Ronstadt, Neil Young, Michael Nesmith and Iain Matthews.

Rock and roll was for dad/influenced by Particularly significant influences were jazz, blues, gospel, country, and folk.
Jazz first emerged in the black cultures of New Orleans from the mixed influences of ragtime, blues, and the band music.

Blues was influenced by work songs and field hollers, minstrel show music, ragtime, church music, and the folk and popular music of the white population
