The Munich Putsch, also known as the Beer Hall Putsch, was a failed coup attempt by the Nazi Party led by Adolf Hitler in November 1923. The event took place in Munich, Bavaria, where Hitler and approximately 2000 brownshirts attempted to seize power by bursting into a meeting held by Gustav Von Kahr, the Bavarian State leader.
