Precambrian Eram2

During the Precambrian era, which spans from the formation of the Earth about 4.6 billion years ago to around 541 million years ago, the earliest forms of life emerged. These were microscopic bacteria, evidenced by fossils dating back approximately 3.

Canadian Landforms

The Canadian Shield includes Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Northwest territories, most of Ontario, Nunavut and Quebec. It even dips into the United States a bit.
The Canadian Shield is one of the worlds richest places for minerals and has one of the biggest diamond mines in the world
The only existing Canadian landform in this era was the Canadian Shield. It was fairly large in size with it being 8 million square kilomtres.

Formation Of the Moon

Asteroids and meteor impacts were very common on Earth.
(Hadean Era)Some Scientists believe that the moon was formed when an asteroid as big as mars struck the earth. They believe a large chunk of debris was launched into space from the impact, and later combining to form the moon.

Major Geological Events

The oldest mineral was detrital zircons. It was founded 4.4 billion years ago. The environment where it was formed is unknown. The mineral was destroyed and is theorized it was destroyed by a meteor strike.
The development of the Ocean
As the Earth cooled down with all the large volcanos forming new land the water from the atmosphere rained down on the newly formed land and covered the Earth with a Ocean.

Time Frame

The Precambrian era makes up for approximately 85% of the entire earth's timeline
Started with the earth's creation.
This time period was 4.6 billion to 541 million years ago

;

Water from comets and other hydrated minerals condensed into the atmosphere. It fell as torrential rain, which mean very heavy rain. The rain cooled down the planet and filled the oceans with water.
The earliest signs of life were apatite grains that had organic matter

The earliest living organisms were microscopic bacteria. Which come up in fossils early as 3.4 billion years ago.
