Audrey is very anxious character.
Audrey's mental health is discussed often in the novel. Audrey deals with anxiety and she often gets panic attacks.

Audrey gets sent to a therapist to help her deal with her grief and anxiety.

Throughout the book Audrey learns how to cope with her mental health, and eventually her panic attacks fade away.

Responsible

While Audrey is very impulsive, I would definitely say that she is also responsible.
Audrey took care of herself and the house after she moved out when she finished school.

Audrey also moved alone from Australia to Colorado and lived by herself for awhile.

Audrey later moves to L.A with Rad.

Impulsive

Throughout the novel, Audrey makes impulsive decisions.
After Audrey finishes school, she moves in with her friend, Lucy, into a new house without thinking through it first.

Audrey also decides to impassively leave Australia and move to Colorado.
