Odysseus is a strong, good looking guy. He is built to look muscular and fit. Odysseus is a great King that goes to any length for his people. He is very arrogant sometimes towards the way he thinks. He thinks with his pride before he thinks with his brain.
His struggles consist of being stuck on an island and poseidon trying to kill
him. He even had to fight for his kingdom when he finally made it home.
Odysseus is a hero because of the things he wen through to get to his family
and people. He only thought about getting home to his wife and son.
Odysseus changed by becoming less greedy and thinking more about his
people.
"But I would not listen to them, and shouted out in my rage"(p. 115)
"He endured being stuck and insulted without a word," (p. 297)

Gilgamesh is part god, strong and handsome. He cares for himself more than his people to begin with. When he goes through all his adventrous he matured and learned how to be a good ruler.
Gilgamesh had to deal with a lot of things that was internal. He thought too
much of his self and that was a big conflict for him in this story. He also had
external struggles that he had to go through to make him better. He had to kill
the bull to save his self.
He was not a great protagonist at the beginning of his story but he grew into a
good ruler. He had to grow up and go through the things like losing a friend and his travels.
Gilgamesh changed some as the story went on. He went from only caring for
his self to maturing and being a good ruler.
