social media is a way where they can conncect with their fans in real time (live streams) as well through viral posts and commenting on trending topics/beefs

Fans

the first wave of fans for a driller are the people in their neighborhood/city

Authorities

sometimes drillers may interact with law enforcement directly or indirectly

they might incriminate themselves in music videos or with their lyrics (for example King Von), and even get put on trial (Young Thug)

Peers

2 types of peers: driller peers and music peers

driller peers includes gang members (affiliates and rivals), drug dealers, burglars, etc.

also includes music peers such as fellow drillers, other music artists, videographers, record labels and club promoters

Impoverished community

highlighting neighborhoods, gangs, and certain activities that showcase life of a driller
