Various religious traditions have distinct practices and beliefs that define their followers' lives. Catholics often celebrate key events such as the birth of Jesus during Christmas and follow rituals like getting married in a church, which symbolizes a union not only between two individuals but also with the church.

Image 6: wedding there is no obligation for marriage in the Buddhist religion. there is no formal tradition of what marriage consists of, therefor it is typically just a civil ceremony which ties two people together.

Image 7: festival One of the major festivals is the Buddhist New Year. this is celebrated within 3 days after the full moon in April

Most of the Buddhist texts where oral which makes it difficult to decipher what the true meaning of it all is.

Image 8 : Treasure vase A sacred symbol in Buddhism is the treasure vase. The vase represents certain wealth deities along with the endless quality of the Buddha's teachings

In the Buddhist religion there is no count of a creation story nor do they theorize how we came to be on this world.

Image 3: Birth of Jesus Christmas is one of the most commonly known festivals in the world. Although it was started by Roman Catholics to commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ, it is now more known for spending time with family and receiving gifts from one another

Image 4: Holy Bible Proverbs 16:9. "In his mind a man plans his course, but the lord directs his steps." This sacred text means that we have control over what we can do in our lives. But God is always there to help guide us in the right direction, away from evil.

In the Catholic Religion we believe that God created this Earth in 6 days on the 7th day He rested: hence the Sabbaths Day

Image 2: Catholic church As Catholics we marry our significant other in a Catholic church in front of our family. In order for us to be married we must first ask the priest of the chosen parish if he wouldn't mind doing the honors of marrying two people. Not only do you marry each other but you get married to the church as well.

Our religion does not define us. we are who we are.

Image 5: Crucifix A sacred symbol in Catholicism is a crucifix, the crucifix is typically located on the altar of a catholic church where the Eucharist is served. It represents atonement and sacrifice. On the crucifix there is the body of Christ as Jesus was nailed to the cross. his body and crucifixion is said to suck sin out of this world.
