The Estonian Health Care Museum

The Estonian Health Care Museum, situated in Tallinn, offers a comprehensive exploration of medical history and health education. Originally founded in Tartu in 1922, the museum relocated to its current location in 1928.

The basic collection of the Estonian Healthcare Museum is separated into four subdivisions: object, photograph, document and publication collections.

The Museum has got 3 floors. First is entrance floor, two others are used for exhibitions.

The Museum was established in 1922 in Tartu. Then, in 1928 it was moved to Tallinn.

The Estonian Health Care Museum is located on Lai 30 Tallinn.

The museum has a permanent exhibition on anatomy and health care, and collects heritage related to the history of medicine in Estonia. Additionally, the museum is a training facility that uses illustrative displays to explain health care topics in a visual and engaging manner.
