Reflecting on the roles one plays in life, it's evident that these roles significantly shape personal identity and life quality. Taking on roles voluntarily, such as being a friend or a creative, can lead to enriching experiences and opportunities for growth.
What Would Happen If You Stopped Playing These Roles?
If I stopped playing these roles I know that my life and quality
of life would be greatly impacted. If I stopped working as a
creative I know that my life would begin to deplete and strongly change. I know that I would lose lots of meaning in
my life because I use creativity as a way to define myself. If I stopped playing the role of a student I would definitely struggle in my future to succeed because of how crucial learning is. If I stopped being a student I would lose so much potential knowledge and greatly effect my future and success. I know how important taking time to learn and be a student is and ending this role would be a very bad decision.
Creative
My relationships with other can greatly effect my role
as a creative because this relationships with others
open opportunities to work on projects I previously
would not be able to. Good relationships with others
can allow me to continue to work creatively and to
experience aspects of life previously I would not.
My social position can effect my role as a creative and
my creative projects in the future. This is because my
social position is able to greatly influence me and my
life experience which can directly effect my creative
work. My social position can open opportunities to
work creatively as well as to experience necessary
life lessons.
My age can greatly affect my role creatively
because as I age, my interests refine and
opinions change over time. This is
important to my creative projects because
my age can greatly affect my choices in
the future.
My role as a creative is important based on my
gender because my creative endeavors are
heavily affected by my experiences and my
gender can greatly affect my life. This can lead
to creative ideas being greatly changed in my
future.
Student
My relationships with others can affect who I am as
a student because these relationships affect who
my teacher is and my quality of education as a
student. These relationships with others can
open up opportunities for me as a student.
My social position can affect my role as a student
because my social position affects my level and
quality of learning which influences my future in the
role of a student. It may change based on my social
position and reflect on my where I am socially.
My age can play a role as a student because
as I age I will slowly evolve into less of a
student. My role as a student changes and I
take on different responsibilities depending
on my age. In the future, my role may
change into a teacher or it may change into
no longer a teacher or a student.
My role as a student may be affected by my gender
because of societal standards that may cause certain
expectations based on my gender as a student.
Stereotypically, men are seen as to go further in their
careers and make more money and become more
successful. While false, there may still be this
large expectation to succeed .
Willing and Reluctant Roles
Roles I willingly play are the roles of friends and
roles of the creative. I greatly enjoy these roles
as they strongly impact my life and change what
experiences I have. I reluctantly take the student
role because although I acknowledge the importance
of being a student, I strive to end working as a student
and eventually move to begin working as a teacher.
I hope I can eventually begin teach others on what
I have in life later in my future.
Friend
My relationships with others can affect my friends because
my relationships with other dictates my friends and other who
may not like me. If I have good relationships with others it can affect my role positively and poor relationships can negatively affect this role.
My social position greatly effects my role as a friend because
my social position can effect my environment and can effect my peers. Who I surround myself with is effected by my social
position also because of how others perceive me which can
change how others see me for the better or worse.
My age greatly effects who my friends are because as I
age my friends may change or my relationships with these
friends may strengthen. My age also creates certain
connections with other people my age because of the
relation with others.
Gender effects my role as a friends towards others
because it can effect who I become friends with and
who I do not because of societal norms of who and who
I should not be friends with based on my gender.
Son/Brother/Grandson
My relationship with others impacts this social role
because it greatly effects how I am perceived by
my family. My relationship with others can change
how my family perceives me in these roles and
can allow me to gain or lose these roles.
Social Position is important to the role of who I
am to my family because my social position may
not change these roles however they can severely
impact my family's perspective of me.
Age plays an important role to who I am to my
family because as I age, I can evolve into uncle
or parent in my future. Age is important to these
roles because they can change over time as I
gain or lose roles in my life.
Gender plays an important role to who I am to
family. Of course, I am a male while makes me
a brother, son and grandson.
