sailed to canada three times

the first two times he didnt make it but the third time he traveled more inland then any other had

has three rivers named after him

ask king louis the 16th to send over women

sent over fillies de rios to new france to grow their population

Radission and Groseilliers went north and first nations told them where they could find heavy beaver pelts

the two of them went to there leader and he wasn't impressed and didn't give them what they wanted

now went to king George the 3rd of britain he gave them the money and men and boats

and started the hudsons bay company

stared their trades and new france was now losing money and stared a war with britian

britain won and got what is now nova scotia

now britain wanted the acadians to take an oath of allegiance to britain (britain was their new ruler but wouldnt have to fight the french

the goverment didnt like that they were nuetral and demanded that they take up another oath to fight the french

acadians didn't take up the oath and got kicked out of their farms and homes

later britain is worried about the first nations rebelling

frist nations and the french fought britain (plains of abraham)

britain captured quebec city from the french

but britain was losing the fight to the first nations

britain made a document (the royal proclamation

made specific boundaries the 13 colonies couldnt cross

made 13 colonies upset they had lost what they fought for (ohio valley)

started the american revolution

the patriots did go against mother country

tried to get help (from the first nations/french)

didnt get help (except a few first nation groups)

continued to fight but lost

loyalists wouldnt go against mother country

stayed loyal

loyalists had to leave or would be killed by patriots

lots went to what is now new york to find

lots of families got split up for awhile

britain and the french signed the treaty of paris

he found new france at quebec city
