The internet has many diffrent views on shrinkflation. Some people think it is need for the economy and others believe that big companies are just trying to make more money from comsumers.

Shrinkflation has been in politics mainly due to the internet, and presidents trying to win votes by saying they are going to reduce shrinkflation.

Shrinkflation has been happening to everything toilet paper losing sheets, smaller chocolate bars, and less chips in a bag.

Shrinkflation dates back to medival England. Where the price of bread was to be sold by a constant to protect customers, but during times of economic hardship the bakers would reduce the size of the bread and keep the price.

Companys are making the amount of chips less while keeping or increasing the price of the chips.
