CONCEPT

The concept of the show series is to visually explain how the US empire relates to the local LA audience and how the audience might help resolve the various social issues. The production of the show is as much a reconciliation of my own understanding of the issues as it is to empower myself to both take action and teach my daughter about the issue and how she can be empowered to take action. WHat I am learning is that there is intersection, interconnection between many social justice issues and I want to reveal where these issues overlap and how the interconnect in order to get to the root cause of these systemic issues.

This direction tells the story of Abby having her identification confirmed by the surveillance state. The story starts showing Abby in either a public or private setting and having her image capture by a camera. This camera could either be a public security camera or her own smart phone camera. This image is then sent to a regional filtration center then into the Utah NSA storage center, then recalled onto an NSA operators computer screen where the sequence resolves fullscreen of her face and show logo.

following a line from the US to foreign destinations. At each destination, conflict footage is shown that reflects that location with it's relationship with the U.S. A montage of collected footage from around the world in protest with US occupation will cut together either as full screen images or within containers as a camera travels the course of the lines and then pulling back to resolve on the global end frame and logo.
