America were expanding across North America and went into Texas
New mexico had allready bought Texas but america bought it from New Mexico
America and new mexico had a war
United states aquired New Mexico and California for $15 million

The trade law agreement between the BNA colonies and US ended in 1865
The BNA colonies will have to pay taxes vice versa
The British had a preference trade law in 1846
Other country's had to pay tax when trading with the British

Political dead lock

Equal representation was supposed to help Canada East not feel dominated by Canada west
The opoisit expectation which them in to political dead lock
Canada West out numbered Canada East via population
Causing Briten to declare that each side of the province will be sharing equal representation at the asembly

Railway in British North America

It was hard to build a rail way due to weather and land marks
Much of the railway business was going to the american railway
It was time when the canadians thought to build there own rail way
If the colonies wanted to trade with each other they would need a railway
It took more time to finish the railway and it would be risky
