Soil pollution

soil pollution can be criticle for our inviorment. If we want to keep all the living creaters in the ground we must take control of soil pollution. Ever heard of a lanfill site? well for those who havent it is an offle place where garbage is buried under the soil. most landfill sites have already been filled with trash and they are now struggling to find new places to put the garbage. some waste for example electronics, contain toxic pollutants. These toxic pollutants can be released into the soil and into the worlds waterways. which can be critticle for water creatures.

Water polluthion

cites are groing bigger and bigger every year. In a city there are many responsabilites, one is water pollution. if cites do not have clean water they will not be able to survive and develop decises. their are many different types of water polluthion. one type inclueds liquids from baths, toilets, and sinks. another type of waste is solid waste. for example garbadge.

Air polluthion

air pollution is where the air is filled with things like carbon monoxide from a car exaust or that smoke you see coming from factories. when people brethe in pollution there health can be sevirly harmed. pollution is much more popular in larger citties than in rural areas.

Light pollution

light pollution is when lights are left on for a very long peiriod of time. Lights left on in skyscarapers kill over one billion birds a year. they get killed because they are atracted to the light. if humans keep up this activite it will have a huge affect on animal activite.

Deforestation

deforestation is a huge problem! Many forest near cites are getting cut down to make room for new factories and hosues. when this happens millions of habbitatas are being destroyed which means those animals have to find new homes and if not they can die. In 2013 2.3 million km2 of forests worldwide were cut down to make room for buildings and houses. but the worst part is that only 800,000 km2 was replaced. In south africa over 70% of the amazon forest has been destored and turned into buildings.

Loss of arable land

loss of arable land can be crittle world wide. and because the population of humans is growing so rapidly the increase in crops and farming is rising. when this happens there will be much more overfarming that oucurs and leaving the soil with no nutrients. after a while the land will no longer be arable.

Loss of habitat

loss of habitat is occuring so offten that soon it is going to lead to extinction. there are so many forests being destroyed, and in the procces there are habitats being destroyed. when habitats get destroyed animals have to find new places to live and adapt to new lifestiles. If these animals can not find a new home in time they will eventually die.
