The influences on an individual's dietary habits can be multifaceted, including the impact of family, friends, and personal preferences. When dining with friends, choices often align with the group'
Global- Depending on the season we may have a harder time
getting exotic foods, this making the diet a little bit harder to get different types of fruits. This means during winter I am stuck eating a lot of apples, oranges, and bananas.
Provincial- In Ontario we grow plenty of
veggies and fruits therefore most of it is cheap and
accessible all year around so I can always have a well
maintained diet.
City- The city has farmers markets often
so my parents will usually go out and get food
not only to support the local economy but also to
get natural fruits and vegetables.
School and Community
Volleyball Tournaments- During these days
we have a pot luck lunch so I have no control over
what is being made.
When I buy a lunch- When I buy a lunch
the options near applewood are not the healthiest
therefore It isn't a great meal.
School Lunch- 80% of the time I have my own lunch
so I eat healthy and don't waste money on buying crappy food.
Family and Friends
Out with friends- If I am out with my friends
I will get whatever they get which could be bad or good
depending on the person.
Family Meals- During a family meal,
I am forced to eat what Is cooked. The meal
is usually healthy though so it is good.
Personal
What appeals to me- If I want a burger
I will buy myself a burger even though it might
not be best for me.
Budget (What I can buy)- If I have to buy myself
something to eat I will go with a cheaper option that
might not be the best choice.
People I look up to- If someone strong eats good
food and gets big I will find out what they are doing.
