Retaining Members Toast of Broadway

The Toast of Broadway club is focusing on several key initiatives to enhance member engagement and operational efficiency. They are considering the introduction of intensive speech craft courses to attract new members and help current members achieve their learning goals.

People have speeches planned so they have one up their sleeve
People let VP Education know when they have holidays in advance
Why do people drop out? This is the bigger question!

Reduces peoples time to prepare
How do you balance being fair to members and accountability
what are the consequences of pulling out last minute?
They lose their chance at the role (especially speaking role)
Member find someone to replace them (send an email directly out to members)

Toastmaster of the Evening making sure experienced members are on replacement roles

New Members Know what they are doing (when new to role)
