An increase in people going to school relates to fertility rates. This is because as more people pursue higher Education, the higher job positions they can get. Countries like South Korea and Japan have lower fertility rates due to most women having high-paying jobs and pursuing higher education.

Mental Strain

People may feel stressed due to loneliness, overload of work, school pressure, etc. According to HEQCO (Higher Education Quality Council of Ontario), 37% of students report symptoms of anxiety in post-secondary education. National Institutes of Health 11% of college/ University students have had suicidal thoughts in the past year.
