Tobacco companies would not spend billions of dollars a year marketing cigarettes and smokeless tobacco.

Tobacco companies go under, millions would lose their job, unemployment would rise.

The rate of new smokers would decrease.

Tobacco would no longer be a leading cause of death in the United states.

Smoking related illness cost the United States over $300 billion each year, this would be cut out.

Second hand smoke related deaths would be eradicated.

The United states would not be a leading producer of tobacco leaves anymore.

The United States is no longer a top exporter of tobacco to other countries.

The United States does not receive the economical profit from being a top tobacco exporter and it ultimately hurts the economy.

The United States would not receive money from cigarette sales.

United States loses out on huge tax revenues and costs savings in pension payments from premature smoking related deaths.
