FMP Project Brief

Production Choice 3: Set of Posters

Idea: Graphically designed posters advertising London showing the best parts of it

Cons: might be hard to present certain landmarks in a positive way if variables such as weather aren't in my favour

Pros: easy for me to travel to london

Research Required: different landmarks and other things that people that aren't familiar in London would be interested in

Requirements: min. 8 images

Target Audience

Must be appropriate for people of all ages, faith and sex

16-19 year olds

Copyright Problems & Solutions

All music, images and other audio must be original and created by me so I must take all my images on my own, create any music I use on GarageBand and use an audio recorder to create any Foley sounds

Production Choice 2: Promotional Website

Idea: interactive website promoting different parts of London to visit such as landmarks and places to eat. Aimed at tourists or people new to central London

Cons: consent forms required to take pictures inside restaurants and other public property

Pros: Travel to London is easy Easy way for tourists to find places to go and to eat in central london

Research Required: Different interesting landmarks for people to visit Locations of restaurants to photograph

Requirements: all images used must be original min. 8 images used all audio used must be original

Production Choice 1: Photography Series

Idea: Series of images taken in central london at landmarks such as: London Eye, St. Pauls Cathedral, The O2, Houses of parliament etc.

Cons: Weather might limit some days e.g. if i want a sunny picture but its cloudy/raining I wouldn't be able to photograph anything that day Must ask for permission to photograph in certain locations and have to get people that I may put in my images to sign consent forms

Pros: Easy for me to travel into London Not a lot of equipment required

Research Required: Which locations I should go to How to get to each location How the locations relate to the "My England" topic

Requirements: Minimum of 8 images, all high quality and professional All original images Independent work must be politically and sexually sensitive and inoffensive
