Each part of the story is a kind of building block. A piece in the story, with its own core.
Een voorbeeld. Ik zou een verhaal kunnen maken van een reis naar bijvoorbeeld .... Dat wordt dan een heel verhaal, waar veel verschillende verhalen in verwerkt zijn. Een mooi hotel, een heerlijke avondmaaltijd, een gesprek over het leven, en een voorbeeld over een ruzie.
Stel, ik wil een overzicht maken van de meest geweldige maaltijden die op reis heb gehad, dan zou de rest van het verhaal daar ook in terecht komen. Maar, als ik elke deel van het verhaal afzonderlijk opsla dan kan ik met elk onderdeel weer een andere doorsnede, een ander verhaal maken.
