Intersectionality

This is a very mainstream topic; Being a person of colour, LGBTQ, or a Particular age face discrimination. Thankful as a society we are moving forward and is starting to be more of people who are in these categories that are typically discriminated about, we are realizing that people of colour deserve the same rights as some one as a different skin tone, People of the LGBTQ community are just the same as everyone else, and just because of someones age does not mean they don't get the right to be heard.

Humanism

Business managements are starting to include more humanism in their leading. Training their employees to be valued and seek it, to find meaning in there works and to become more creative. Understanding that people have goals and understanding the need to reach that goal is important.

Congnitive

Canada as a society is Cognitive to improve the country and its opportunity all the time. Candidates running for Prime Minister set goal they want the country to achieve, and if they want to keep the position they need to be reaching those goals and promises as well as setting new ones in place. This could be A negative or positive depending on the country and goals.

Cultural materialism

Many societies are advancing and are becoming a first world countries because of the technological advances and the access to these advances to the average individual. Although this is a good thing for us but for the 3rd world Countries, this could be a problem. Most Countries do have the advanced tech that we have it just not available for everyone. I like how there are program, and foundations that help with this sort of thing.

Conflict

An example of conflict could be found back in history when their used to be black slaves, white people though they had more power because of the colour of their skin. Even after during the segregation period of time although times were progressing in a more positive way, their still was a structure created by white for the people of colour to obey by.

Feminism

Subtopic

Ever since world war 1 and 2 Feminism has been growing. Because of all the men at war or lost at war, Women would Stand up and take their spot While they were away or to gain numbers. Ever since then Women have fought for more opportunities and Women are now starting to get the equality they are longing for.

Structural functionism

Social Influences

Beauty/Fashion Campaigns started a whole trend of body shaming and low self esteem found within younger individuals. Communities viewed what was seems in Ads as the new norm creating the huge shift in body shaming. More recently the Beauty/Fashion Campaigns have started promoting positive self love for all body types and genders after the realization of what their ads have caused and how it affected others.
