Behavior modification can be closely related to the learning theory of Behaviorism- Seen when the teacher modifies lesson to utilize the strengths and weaknesses of students, as well as criteria needed to be covered.

What are the important concepts?

Ask the following questions about recourses: -How soon after the beginning of school will students be given their textbooks? -What computer facilities are available? -What calculators are familiar to students? -What manipulative can or should you use? -What resources are available to assist you in working with students with special needs? -What clerical or school help can you expect? Does your school have student aides? -Is there a professional section of the library for the teachers? -As a participating mathematics department member, you should be aware of available financing sources. How can you request funs for curricular activities?

Why important? Helps teachers and students be better adept to tools outside of textbooks to explore different methods of learning and teaching

Relationship to classroom? Helped me when doing my first lesson... Found out about student whiteboards, prezi, internet connection, projector, etc.
