Blended Classroom

Asynchronous work can be completed to reinforce in-person content. Homeworks, discussion boards, videos, and readings are examples of productive asynch work.
In-Person Instruction
Typically, content is presented in-person including lectures and examples.
Less time is spent in person than a traditional classroom, so prioritization is important.

Flipped Classroom

Online
Students complete at their own time but before in-person instruction
Instruction is delivered virtually via previously recorded videos
In-person instruction
Teachers act as facilitators who set up content, design and align homeworks, and provide a learning space that students can explore in
Active learning experince in order to practice materials taught during online asynchronous time.
