Blended Classroom

Asynchronous work can be completed to reinforce in-person content. Homeworks, discussion boards, videos, and readings are examples of productive asynch work.
In-Person Instruction
Typically, content is presented in-person including lectures and examples.
Less time is spent in person than a traditional classroom, so prioritization is important.

Flipped Classroom

Online
Students complete at their own time but before in-person instruction
Instruction is delivered virtually via previously recorded videos

Teachers act as facilitators who set up content, design and align homeworks, and provide a learning space that students can explore in
Active learning experince in order to practice materials taught during online asynchronous time.

Online or offline activities not directly connected with an instructor or other students in real-time. Students complete at their own time.

Can include instruction, group work or discussion.
Direct, live interaction with an instructor and other peers in real time via video.
