What is our product?
‘product’– research knowledge and innovation and educational opportunity
To provide the best and most relevant product we need influence from the market (the public/patients)
The public/patients therefore are our customers
Who cares about research knowledge? – light bulb
Who cares about Innovation? – money bag
Who cares about educational opportunity? – graduation hat
The 4 main categories of stakeholder
· Influencer
· Customer
· Provider/Supplier
· Governance
Within each one, stakeholders are either:
Internal
Internal comms/media
External governance level
External organisational level
External individual level (eg patient, student)
All stakeholders are also classed as strength and opportunities
