The purpose of the campaign is to transcend the movie, and create a movement that enables, facilitates, and enables our mission.

TR Bucket Challenge

An activity that people can get involved in that is fun and helps to promote the message (ie. family photo of all the voters in the house). A challenge that makes people woke and realize the importance of voting.

TR App

The app could have real time voters broken down by race in each state to show who is being proactive, and engaging. People can register by group & the percentage that they need left to push the vote. Each state you can see the registered voters, and can gauge what the real-time results are of who we need to make a difference.

The whole point of the hashtag is to unite people in the movement in the simplest way possible online.

Group reps

Each rep should describe:

1. Size & impact of their group in the US
2. Issues they particularly face through the Trump administration
3. How active their voters are
4. What they need to do to galvanize their group?

2. At the root of the problem, it comes from the way that we are raised, how we are not encouraged to have a voice by our parents, and taught not to "rock the boat."

1. How the roles were originally reversed and the GOP abolished slavery through Lincoln, the first Republican president.
2. How the Japanese were the only group in the US who were interned.
3. How Lyndon Johnson as a Democrat, signed the civil rights bill and how black voters shifted from GOP to Dems, a predominantly southern party.
4. Martin Luther King speech dissolves to Barak Obama winning 2008 elections.
5. How Trump questioned Obama's birth certificate and Obama fired back at the Correspondent's dinner.
6. How Trump beat all the odds and beat Hillary Clinton
7. How Trump's administration influenced a rise in racism and violence though his authoritarian approach.
8. How four more years of Trump can destroy our democracy.

Minority reps call out their own people for not voting and point out the reality of how US politics is predominantly white, and how another four years of Trump can destroy our democracy.

1. Have minority reps recount how they felt when they found out that it happened
2. Each rep (one per each group) talks about how the turnout for each group was very poor & why they think it is like that
3. Asian Reps specifically acknowledging that we are invisible and it is our fault

White GOP reps who are happy with Trump and are confident he will win again.

Conflict

No one predicted that Trump would win. Can we avoid making the same mistake again?

Minority and millennial voter turnout is too low, and as a result, Trump will win again.

The disparity between minority representation in politics and and the number of minorities that make up this country is unbalanced.

Trump has redefined the political landscape, and our democracy is at risk.

Mission

Impacting, INSPIRING, EMPOWERING, and galvanizing minorities and millenials to vote in the next elections.

1. Educating voters about the electoral process in real numbers so people are fully aware of the strategy involved to remove Trump.
2. Teaching people that you can be the change by voting and that they really believe it

Making Asian voters realize that they can make a difference in the next elections because they play a major role in the minority vote.

Giving minority voters access to political experts for their groups to inspire them to go out and vote

Not using politicians as subjects, but political experts instead to educate voters.

Inspiring minority groups to come together and create community through voting

Addressing white voters who are on the fence by pointing out how Trump's policies affect them directly

1. Contingency of white people that will fall for the hype that the economy is really good, as a primary selling point to Trump.
2. Pointing out the social policies.
3. Using "good white people" to get the white people back from the Trump mentality.

Don't focus on racism but how we can fight it through voting.

America's democracy is defined by our right to vote for the leaders we want.

Be the change that you wish to see by voting.

Democracy has never been equal in America. It has benefitted the majority and the minorities have always had to fight for their share of it.

Voting is the greatest way to to affect the change you want to see in America.

The most powerful form of democracy is voting

Millenials and minorities can make a profound difference in the next elections.

Let's stop complaining about Trump, and focus on more viable strategy to beat Trump that everyone can understand.

Asian Americans have to be as vocal as other minority groups in order to be included in the political conversation.

If we don't bring civility back into our politics, we will lose our democracy.

Don't vilify the enemy. Understand their side, otherwise there is no chance for any dialogue or progress.

The problem doesn't just lie in who leads our country but the system itself.
