Reach out to several people in the community and other organizations for support.

Many individuals like/coomment/retweet which then makes the issue more known.

Some may not have social media

Some are aware of the issue but don't do anything about it for various reasons.

Feel that there are other issues more important.

Don't personally connect with it so they aren't as passionate about helping.

Don't know how to get involved.

Some help by donating or being involved and supporting events

Personal issues

Substance Abuse
Spending money on things such as drugs can affect those in the household who may be relying on it for items such as food, clothes, etc.
Several get kicked out of houses due to their families not wanting to deal with their issues revolving around substance abuse.

Lack of Equality

Women aren`t treated equally compared to men in third world countries.
If women were able to have jobs and get paid as equally as men, there would be fewer individuals that struggle to obtain food for themselves.

Organizations

Seva Food Bank

Natural Disasters
Areas surrounded by bodies of water can limit the growth of crops.
Many third world countries have things they can't grow there. Because of this, their diet is limited and they cannot eat things that we do or they'll get sick.

Reputation

Government/Country leaders
Many leaders lie about the amount of people that are actually homeless in their country because they don't want a bad reputation.

People in and out of the country don't understand how severe the issue really is.

Without understanding the severity, there may not be enough help being sent towards the country in need.
