Lost and found line

Description of a form in which is revealed by distinct contours in some areas. Portions of the line will be missing, yet still connected.

Psychic line

One object points to and directs he viewer's eye from one point to another.

Physical line

The line itself in terms of its chaaracteristics such as color, movement, shape, ect.

Expressive line

An expression of the artist's feelings or emotions. Focus on the artist's understanding and essence, not the object being drawn.

Gesture line

A line that shows the movement, weight, posture, and general character of the subject at a single point in time.

Contour line

Line used to follow the edges of form and describes their outlines. It precisely records their edges, contours, and intersections. Can define the separation between two objects.
