BIG BANG 2ND

The formation and evolution of the universe began with the Big Bang, which produced simple elements like hydrogen and helium. These elements coalesced into massive hydrogen clouds, eventually forming stars through nuclear fusion.

Evolution

• If there was no iron we could not have evolved in this way
• Hemoglobin is made up of iron
• Hemoglobin carried oxygen in our blood
• Iron played a big role in our evolution

Stars Life Cycle

• Live for billions of years

• Large stars become black holes
• Small stars become white dwarfs
• Explosion sends elements all around the universe
• When a star dies it creates a supernova
• Can no longer do nuclear fusion
• Dies when it reaches a very high temperature

BIG BANG

Life

• The stars are our origin
• Carbon, iron, all elements of periodic table
• The elements we rely on originated from the stars
• Would not have been possible without the elements from the stars

Elements

• Without the elements from the stars we could not live
• Earth has an iron core because of this
• Spread around the universe because of supernovas
• Created inside the stars

Simple Matter

he only elements evident straight after the big bang
Lithium
• Helium
• Hydrogen
• Simple atoms

Galaxies

They consist of billions of stars
• They explode and our sun and solar system is created
• Clumps get larger and larger and hotter
• Clumps of matter join together

Stars

• Gives off energy in form of heat and light
• Nuclear fusion occurs
• Dense enough to have nuclear reactions
• Large bodies of helium and hydrogen
• Billions of years before galaxies

Hydrogen Cloud

• Huge balls of gas became stars
• Created a huge ball of gas
• Was the whole universe
