• If there was no iron we could not have evolved in this way

• Hemoglobin carried oxygen in our blood
• Iron played a big role in our evolution

• Explosion sends elements all around the universe
• When a star dies it creates a supernova
• Can no longer do nuclear fusion
• Dies when it reaches a very high temperature

• The elements we rely on originated from the stars
• Would not have been possible without the elements from the stars
