Molecular Structure of a Compound

Un compuesto molecular está formado por átomos, que son las unidades fundamentales e indivisibles de un elemento químico. Los átomos consisten en un núcleo compuesto de protones con carga positiva y neutrones sin carga, rodeados por electrones con carga negativa que se encuentran en diferentes niveles de energía u orbitales.

ATOM

It is a type of bond that is produced between 2 atoms by the sharing of 2 or more electrons from its outer shell in order to form a stable molecule.

IONIC

It is a chemical bond between atoms, where one of them transfers an electron to the other.
